The One Pinterest E-Course that Exploded My Blog Traffic

Back in December I wrote a post about my blogging goals for 2019. One of them was to reach one million unique monthly views on Pinterest and I mentioned that I had recently purchased a course which has been helping me to grow my traffic to my blog from Pinterest. Some of you expressed an interest in the course and understandably wanted to know more about it before you took the plunge, so I've decided to write a little review to let you know how I got on with it, how much it has actually helped my blog grow and what you can expect if you decide to purchase it.

Affiliate links have been used in this post. This means that if you purchase anything through one of my links I will receive a small commission at no extra cost to you.

The course I purchased was Pinterest with Ell by Lauren Duclos who runs a community called Boss Girl Bloggers and is probably one of the nicest people on the Internet (don't believe me? Check out Ell's blog and follow her on Twitter to see for yourself. She's constantly supporting others and is always up for a chat).

The main reason I decided to purchase Ell's course as opposed to any other was because I trust her. I read her blog all the time and speak to her on social media. I knew she wasn't some scammer who was going to take my money and run. I also knew for a fact that she knows what she's talking about when it comes to Pinterest - she's always giving people tips to help them out and has written whole blog posts on the subject (she has actually managed to make blogging her full-time job, so she's definitely doing something right).

But was her course going to be worth the money? I had seen lots of other bloggers who had already taken the course raving about it and I kept thinking but is it really that good? I honestly hadn't seen one person say something negative. Now I'm one of those bloggers raving about it: it really is that good. I personally think Ell should be selling it for a lot more than she currently is. Some Pinterest courses cost hundreds and don't give you any information that you don't already know. Ell's course is incredibly detailed but broken down into sections and written in a way that is easy to understand, even if you don't know the first thing about Pinterest.

There were a few things in the course that I already knew, but I had been reading a lot of Pinterest tips online prior to enrolling in the course and had learnt quite a bit so I wasn't surprised that this was the case. However, there were so many things taught in the course that hadn't even crossed my mind or been mentioned in anything I'd previously read, but were so incredibly useful when I put them into practice. Also, once you buy the course, you have access to it forever, so I've been going back and re-reading certain parts that are either particularly helpful or that I'd just forgotten from my first read-through.

When I wrote my goals post last week I was already receiving around 57,000 unique monthly views on Pinterest by implementing the tips I learnt in the course. Now, just a week later, I'm getting over 90,000 and so many more click-throughs to my blog than before. I haven't even started using Tailwind yet, which is recommended by Ell, so I'm sure that when I do I'll be well on my way to getting that million by the end of the year.

If you're interested in taking Lauren's course Pinterest with Ell, you can buy it here (use the code PROMO to grab it for just $20) - it doesn't matter where you are in the world and you can pay via PayPal. If you have any questions about the course, leave them in the comments and I'll be happy to answer them for you.

Let me know if you've ever taken a blogging course and what you thought of it!
