Once you've mastered the art of organisation, your home will become a calm, tranquil and inviting space that you look forward to coming back to at the end of the day. Sound good?
Here are my top tips as well as some storage solutions I recommend for keeping your home organised. Please keep in mind that organisational systems only work as long as you actually use them, so make sure you always put things back where they belong once you're finished with them.

Only keep items in your home that you use and/or love
Before you start trying to organise anything, you're going to need to get rid of the excess. Start by having a clearout of anything that isn't useful to you anymore, doesn't spark joy or add value to your life in any way, and anything that hasn't been used in, say, six months or a year. All your possessions should have either a use or sentimental value.Related post: Five Things I Don't Own As a Minimalist (and Five Things I Do)
Now that you've cleared out the clutter, here are a few tips and clever products you can buy on Amazon for organising each room of your house:
Kitchen Organisation
Kitchens can get messy easily, especially if you like to cook a lot of your meals from scratch, so it's important to have effective storage solutions in place to stop a mess from building up.When you're working in the kitchen, you need everything to be clean and tidy but you also need things to be within easy reach. I really love these fridge storage containers which are great for organising your food by category and are clear so you can see what's inside. They also work well in kitchen cupboards, which have a tendency to become messy quickly if not properly organised.
Speaking of kitchen cupboards, if you buy a lot of canned food it can be difficult to know how to organise it. Stacking them on top and in front of each other isn't ideal because you can't see the ones at the back. That's why I think this tin can organizer is such a good idea as it allows you to stack your tins neatly while also being able to see exactly what's inside each one.
I also think this adjustable under sink organizer is an amazing idea for those awkward spaces under the kitchen or bathroom sink. Perfect for storing your cleaning supplies.
Bedroom Organisation
The bedroom should be a place of calm; a sanctuary to relax and unwind. You don't want piles of clothes all over the floor and a general mess to contend with every time you step inside, as this will increase your stress levels rather than calming you down. Fortunately there are a number of storage solutions and tricks to keep the bedroom nice and tidy.An underwear organizer might seem a bit extra, but if you follow the KonMari Method, you'll know that this way of folding and storing your underwear and socks is really effective - it's a space saver and just makes them look really neat.
These foldable fabric storage cubes work well in any room of the house, but are perfect for storing kids toys and clothes. They can also be used as drawers in a storage cube organizer.
A handy dresser tray has compartments to store your jewellery, money, keys and even a phone charging station. I think it would also work well if you have a command station in your home's entryway.
These stainless steel, non-slip S-shape clothes hangers save space by allowing you to hang multiple pairs of trousers, scarves and ties on the same hanger. They're really useful if you have a tiny wardrobe (or just a lot of clothes).
Finally, this rustic jewelry organizer is an aesthetically pleasing way to both organise and display your earrings, necklaces and other accessories.
Bathroom Organisation
Bathrooms are often the smallest room in the house and as a result can become cluttered quite easily. Since most people own a lot of products, knowing how to store them well will give you more space.A narrow, freestanding bathroom storage cabinet is perfect for small spaces. You can keep your skincare, haircare products, toilet paper, towels and pretty much anything else you need inside, out of sight but easily accessible when you need to grab them.
This toiler paper stand and dispenser holds a few rolls of paper which you can keep right next to the toilet so you never run out. Alternatively, you could keep your toilet rolls in a basket if you want something a bit different.
A hanging shower caddy is a good way to keep all your products together inside the shower and the one linked stores your bottles at an angle so the water drains straight off them.
This towel rack keeps your towels neat and organised and looks a lot prettier than just piling them up in the airing cupboard.
Home Office Organisation
If you work from home, you want your workspace to be calm, inspiring, and conducive to a productive day. An untidy desk will add to your stress levels and won't make for a pleasant work environment. A top tip is to tidy up your desk and surrounding area every evening when you've finished working, leaving a clean slate for the next day. This five piece desk organizer set is really cute and includes a pen pot, a mail holder, a letter tray, a file organiser and a sticky note holder.
These metal floating shelves have a very minimal aesthetic and would go well in any room. Also, if you own a lot of books, a bookshelf is a must to store and display them all.
Finally, this daily planner pad is the perfect way to keep yourself organised.
