Review: The Coffeebrewer by Grower's Cup Brew-in-the-Bag Coffee

If you've been following me for any length of time, you'll know how much I love coffee. Hell, I even have 'coffee lover' in my Twitter bio. This basically means that any time I'm offered free coffee I'm very unlikely to turn it down. Gimme ALL THE COFFEE.

Grower's Cup offered to send me an assortment of their coffeebrewer 'brew-in-the-bag' coffees in exchange for a review and I was pretty excited to try it.

The coffeebrewer is best described as a hybrid between the pour over coffee and the French press. It offers a freshly brewed, rich tasting quality coffee, but with the convenience of instant coffee. All their coffees are single estate and hand roasted. I was sent a box containing ten bags of coffee, which included a mix of blends and strengths from five different countries - Colombia, Brazil, Guatemala, Ethiopia and Honduras.

I loved how easy it was to make - you just pour boiling water into the bag, wait a few minutes for it to brew et voila! A perfect cup of coffee for your drinking pleasure (each bag actually makes about two cups). I also love the convenience and portability - I drank all of mine at home but you could potentially take a bag with you to the office or round a friend's house for a catch-up, and brew it when you get there. It'd also be perfect for anyone who goes camping because you'd be able to have a freshly brewed coffee every morning, even when you're in the middle of nowhere.

I have to say that I'm so impressed with this range. Before tasting it, I did wonder how good a 'boil-in-the-bag' coffee could really be - but now I'm a total convert. I think it'd make a perfect gift for the coffee lover in your life. I'm a coffee lover if anyone wants to buy me some more...
