Quick and Easy Turmeric Latte/Golden Milk Recipe

Quick and Easy Turmeric Latte/Golden Milk Recipe

Turmeric boasts a number of health benefits. Thanks to its active ingredient, curcumin, it has both antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

I love enjoying a hot turmeric latte, also known as golden milk, during the autumn and winter - although in summer you can always make an iced version by allowing the finished product to cool, pouring it into a glass and throwing in a handful of ice.

I've added a few ingredients to this recipe which are totally optional but will provide you with added health benefits. For example, black pepper helps your body absorb curcumin more effectively. As curcumin is fat soluble, adding some coconut oil may also help to increase its effectiveness.
